Japanese plants of Mazda and Mitsubishi ceased operations in connection with extreme weather conditions.

Enterprises in the prefectures of Hiroshima and Okayama, as well as the factory of the supplier parts for Mazda cars stopped due to flooding in the Central part of Japan from 7 July, writes with reference to .

The reopening will not happen until the second half of the week. The Mitsubishi plant in Kurashiki, Okayama prefectural cannot reach many employees.

This enterprise will fail to start until the 12th of July. Stopping production is associated with heavy rains that struck Central and South-Western part of Japan. The disaster has resulted in flooding and landslides. In some places the overflowing of the river flooded large areas.

The death toll is currently close to 170.
